Michigan State Football: Cam Chambers could be solid No. 2 receiver

No Cody White, potentially no problem. While the Spartans will be without their No. 2 receiver for a few weeks with a broken hand, they could turn to Cam Chambers, in a pinch.

The redshirt sophomore wide out proved to be much more than just a depth piece on Saturday against Northwestern, surpassing his season totals from a season ago in just one game. He was one of Brian Lewerke’s favorite weapons, catching all five of his targets for 82 yards — he had five catches for 66 yards in 2017.

If there’s one thing we learned from this performance, it’s that Chambers could be the perfect, sure-handed fill-in for White.
