EAST LANSING — Mel Tucker’s Michigan State football staff is coming together. And it will retain at least two familiar faces.
Ron Burton, an assistant for Mark Dantonio since 2013, has changed his mind and will remain with the Spartans as the defensive line coach.
In addition, Mike Tressel, who had been the defensive coordinator under Dantonio, will join Tucker's staff in a yet-to-be-determined position, according to an MSU spokesman.
The Indianapolis Star reported earlier this week that Burton was heading across the Big Ten East to Indiana.
