Michigan State football’s busy recruiting week continues to build.
The Spartans added a class of 2021 commitment Tuesday from three-star prospect Steffan Johnson from Venice, Florida. The 6-foot, 160-pound cornerback is a high school teammate of MSU safety commit Charles Brantley.

Johnson picked the Spartans over Rutgers, Virginia, South Florida and a number of smaller Division I programs. He is rated the No. 135 cornerback nationally and the 210th prospect in Florida, according to 247Sports.
