After previously committing to Syracuse as a graduate transfer last month, 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive end Gabe Sherrod pledged his allegiance to the Spartans via social media on Tuesday afternoon.
The former Delaware State, FCS program, defensive end was on his way to Syracuse before things changed and he decided to give Michigan State a shot just a month after visiting East Lansing.
