Michigan State football’s four-star flurry continues.
Demitrius Bell from Tennessee became the fifth four-star commitment for Mel Tucker's Spartans and the second to join the next recruiting class this week. Cornerback Chance Rucker from Texas picked MSU on Monday, and Bell now joins him as the eighth pledge for 2023.
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound wide receiver/defensive back, Bell told the (Murfreesboro) Daily News Journal in April he went from having no college scholarship opportunities at this time a year ago to emerging as a four-star recruit with a flood of recent Power Five offers from LSU, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Memphis.
