Fans and coaches watched as three-star receiver commit Jase Bowen chose his dream of playing Major League Baseball over college football after being drafted by the Pirates and shortly after, three-star defensive end Adam Berghorst heard his name called as well.
It was a tough pill to swallow because Bowen was expected to have a strong career for both Michigan State football and baseball, but decided to pass it up to fight his way through the minor leagues.
Would Berghorst follow suit and pick the Texas Rangers and the MLB over Michigan State?
The decision has been weeks in the making, but he finally made a decision before a July 12 deadline.
