It wasn’t at all pretty. In fact, the Spartans win in the Rutgers game was ugly. Michigan State football has a tough schedule ahead, so these games against inferior opponents should not be nearly as close as they have been.
The Spartans will need to work on a ton of things moving forward, but it’s difficult to do when they have so many injuries. The ‘next man up’ mantra can only take this team so far as the guys going down for lengthy periods of time are starting to pile up.
