Heading into the 2015 season, Michigan State football is expected to do some big things. The Spartans are looking like one of the premier teams in the nation and one of the favorites to make the second annual College Football Playoff.

The veteran head coach has brought the Spartan program from bottom-dweller to top-tier in just a few years. However, they’re still trying to earn respect from national media members as the Spartans are widely considered “on the way down” while Michigan is “on the rise.
