Injuries are a part of sports. Unfortunately, they happen to every team, every year, but some teams get bit by the injury bug slightly harder than others. Michigan State was in pain last season from start to finish from the starting quarterback all the way down to the third-string punter.
It was obvious from the get-go that 2018 was going to be a long season when Jake Hartbarger went down with a broken leg in the second game of the season. It was basically all downhill from there as Brian Lewerke suffered a shoulder injury, Cody White broke his hand, Josiah Scott was out for a good chunk of the year, LJ Scott played in just four games, Felton Davis III tore his Achilles and the year was topped off with a Kenny Willekes broken leg in the Redbox Bowl.
