Michigan State Football brought back a ton of talent for the 2015 season. It looked like the Spartans that had just beaten Baylor in the Cotton Bowl would challenge Ohio State for the Big Ten title and make a run at the College Football Playoff. Michigan State did just that, taking down the Buckeyes and beating Iowa in the title game.
However, many would argue that the 2015 version of the Spartans was a disappointment. Sure, Michigan State finished 12-1 after the Big Ten title game, but losing 38-0 to Alabama in the College Football Playoff’s first round was embarrassing and, frankly, set the program back in many experts’ eyes.
