The kickoff of the 2018 season can’t come soon enough. Michigan State football faces plenty of questions this offseason, but a few of them were answered in spring ball.
Michigan State finished out the spring, at least in the public eye, with the green and white scrimmage and even though it was played in poor weather, there were some highlights, such as a Darrell Stewart Jr. breakout performance and Brian Lewerke’s increased confidence.
Mark Dantonio has to feel good about his squad entering the 2018 campaign — returning 19 starters has to help.
Still, there’s no shortage of important storyline facing the Spartans heading into next season regarding some of their star players.
