Not often do college football teams land 6-foot-6 wide receivers. Heck, it’s not every day NFL teams pick up pass-catchers with that kind of size, but the Spartans made a splash on Tuesday evening as three-star Tre’Von Morgan committed.
Felton Davis III was that red zone threat for the Spartans over the last two seasons before his Achilles injury and he will be replaced by Morgan — potentially early on.
There’s no doubting Cody White will be the No. 1 guy for Michigan State next season followed by Jalen Nailor, Darrell Stewart Jr., Cam Chambers and CJ Hayes, but Morgan could get some run as a decent replacement for Morgan.
