In-state recruiting has become more important by the year for Michigan State football, and the 2018 class is no exception. The Spartans recently made the cut for three-star West Bloomfield wide receiver Taj Mustapha on Wednesday.

Although he’s not considered one of the elite players in the class, or even in the state, he has tremendous upside. He recently received an offer from the Spartans and named them in his top five.
