The Minnehaha Academy product is rated the No. 7 player in Minnesota and the No. 129 defensive end nationally by the 247Sports Composite rankings. He also reportedly had basketball offers from Minnesota (where his father Randy was forward in the early 1990s), Vanderbilt and West Virginia.
