I think we can all agree that the Michigan State football team took a step back offensively last year. Points, touchdowns, and yards were all down from the previous year, resulting in losses and pessimism throughout the fanbase.
Whether it was injuries, missed assignments, or coaching mistakes, there was no shortage of blame to go around. But with a new season comes optimism and reasons why this year will be better.
Here are three things that need to happen for this offense to have a better output for the 2023 season.
1. Average 30 points per game
The Spartans scored 24.
