Both times there was a touchdown up for grabs and the Spartans capitalized on each.
Michigan State recovered a pair of fumbles in the end zone in Saturday's 24-3 win at Maryland. The first put points on the scoreboard for the Spartans and the second took them away from the Terrapins.
The first instance came in the third quarter after Michigan State drove inside the Maryland red zone. Running back Connor Heyward was stood up at the 5-yard line but spun away and towards the goal line.
