ANN ARBOR - Michigan State head coach Tom Anastos wasn't pleased with how his team played Friday night after taking a two-goal lead against Michigan.
Saturday night at Yost Ice Arena was a different story. MSU defenseman Rhett Holland opened the scoring at the 7-minute, 18-second mark of the second period, and the Spartans scored three more consecutive goals against Michigan en route to a 4-1 win - one night after losing to the Wolverines 5-4 in a shootout at Joe Louis Arena.
The Spartans also won the first meeting at Yost this season 3-0, sweeping the season series at Michigan for the first time since 1989.
