Tyson Walker made it official: “One more.”
The senior guard announced via Instagram on Monday that he plans to return to Michigan State basketball for his extra year of eligibility from the 2020-21 COVID season.
The 6-foot, 180-pound guard from Westbury, New York, led the Spartans at 14.8 points per game this season, shooting 45.9% overall and 41.5% from 3-point range. He added 2.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes per game, finishing a plus-93 while making 79.7% of his free throws.
Walker transferred to MSU before the 2022-23 season after playing his first two seasons at Northeastern.
