Injury on top of inconsistency plagued the junior’s night Sunday in No. 4 Michigan State basketball’s 79-65 loss at Northwestern.
Hauser banged knees with Northwestern's Ryan Greer while setting a screen with 2:39 to play in the first half. He went to the locker room early but returned for the second half. He wore a black sleeve on that leg to go with the white one covering his right knee he bruised Dec. 4 vs. Detroit Mercy.
