EAST LANSING — Nick Ward spent Monday’s Michigan State basketball practice as a spectator, his arm in a sling covering his surgically repaired left hand.
The process of mending the hairline fracture he suffered during the Spartans’ 62-44 win over Ohio State was underway. And the junior forward said he is “in a good place,” even without a time frame to return to the court and No. 10 MSU chasing a Big Ten title.
