Miles Bridges became a consensus All-American on Tuesday.
The Michigan State sophomore earned second-team honors from The Associated Press.
The 6-foot-7 forward from Flint, who was a unanimous All-Big Ten first-team selection, also earned second-team All-America honors from The U.S. Basketball Writers Association, the National Association of Basketball Coaches, The Sporting News and USA Today.

Bridges is MSU’s 11th consensus All-American and sixth under coach Tom Izzo, with Denzel Valentine in 2016 the program’s last. The others were Johnny Green (1959), Magic Johnson (1979), Scott Skiles (1986), Steve Smith (1991), Shawn Respert (1995), Mateen Cleaves (1998, 1999, 2000), Morris Peterson (2000), Jason Richardson (2001) and Draymond Green (2012).
