EAST LANSING — After a mediocre start that may have left already trembling Spartans fans breaking another sweat, Michigan State basketball escaped with a 83-59 victory over Eastern Michigan on Saturday at the Breslin Center.
The victory improved MSU to 3-1 on the season and 33-3 all-time against EMU.
The game tested the Spartans as they recorded their lowest shooting performance (44.1%) of the season. Eastern Michigan outrebounded the Spartans, 43-41.
