Make it three former Michigan State basketball players who will be reuniting in Las Vegas this summer.
And Kenny Goins, Nick Ward and Matt McQuaid all hope what happens in Vegas will allow them to make their next destination the NBA.
Goins agreed to play for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Summer League, which runs from July 5-15, according to The Athletic and retweeted by Goins’ representatives at Edge Sports International.
The former Spartan walk-on will join Ward (Atlanta Hawks) and McQuaid (Detroit Pistons) as undrafted players hoping to make an impression and land an NBA roster spot, a two-way deal or a job in the Gatorate League this fall.
