Michigan State basketball’s Cassius Winston was named second-team All-American by the Associated Press on Friday.
The senior point guard became the Spartans' first two-time All-American since Mateen Cleaves did it three straight years (1998-2000).
It is the second All-American honor Winston has earned this season. He was named to the second team by The Sporting News on March 11, two days after he was named a unanimous All-Big Ten first-team selection for the second straight year.
