Michigan State basketball's balanced attack buries Nebraska, 86-65

LINCOLN, Neb. – It wasn’t pretty, not with the number of unforced turnovers and amount of sloppy play coach Tom Izzo watched.

But No. 25 Michigan State basketball got offensive contributions from a variety of sources Thursday night and handed Nebraska its school record 11th straight loss, 86-65, at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Cassius Winston had 23 points and six assists, and Gabe Brown scored a career-high 17 points with five 3-pointers for MSU. Kyle Ahrens added 14 points and seven rebounds in a season-high 22 minutes, Aaron Henry had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Xavier Tillman had his 12th double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
