STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Michigan State basketball will be without two key players Sunday when it takes on Penn State.
Kyle Ahrens joins fellow junior Joshua Langford as sitting out with injuries when the sixth-ranked Spartans tip off against the Nittany Lions (4:30 p.m., CBS).
Ahrens, who had started the past four games in place of Langford, out with a left foot injury, will miss his first game this season with a back sprain and did not make the trip to Bryce Jordan Center. The 6-foot-6 forward tweaked it on his dunk last week at Ohio State, as well as twisting his ankle in the win.
