IOWA CITY, Iowa — The Michigan Statebasketball game scheduled for Thursday at Iowa has been postponed because of COVID-19 cases within the Spartan program, the Des Moines Register has learned.
This is the second time this season that a Spartans game will be postponed due to COVID reasons. MSU's game in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge against Virginia in December was called off while the Cavaliers were dealing with coronavirus issues.
Izzo said he would understand if Iowa opted to postpone it as a precaution, as have a few other games in the Big Ten this season.
