The latest AP poll has MSU ranked No. 2 in the land, just behind top-ranked Kansas and drawing in two first-place votes. The Spartans were the only team besides Kansas to receive first-place votes.
Michigan State came in at No. 3 in the USA Today poll, getting one first-place vote. Interestingly, No. 2 Villanova did not receive any votes for the top spot.
