Michigan State basketball: Rocket Watts signs letter of intent for 2019 class

A rocket is hurtling toward East Lansing.

Mark (Rocket) Watts inked his letter of intent with Michigan State basketball on Wednesday morning, the first day of college basketball’s signing period, according to a post on the Detroit native’s Twitter page.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound, 4-star combo guard played this season at SPIRE Academy in suburban Cleveland. He is rated the fifth-best combo guard nationally and No. 32 overall in the 2019 class according to 247Sports.com.
