It wasn’t pretty. Heck, it might have even been the ugliest Michigan State basketball performance since the Final Four loss against Duke just last April. Iowa came to East Lansing and dismantled the fourth-ranked Spartans, the Hawkeyes’ second win over MSU this season.
Not much went right for the Spartans as they finished with just four three-point makes on 22 shots while Iowa made 10-of-21 three-pointers, including eight in the first half to get the 22-point lead going into the locker room.
