Pierre Brooks II is heading to East Lansing.
The shooting guard from Detroit Douglass on Wednesday announced his commitment to Michigan State via Twitter, coach Tom Izzo’s first recruit for 2021.
The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Brooks picked the Spartans over Michigan, Xavier and 13 other offers. He is rated a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 96 player and No. 21 shooting guard according to 247Sports.com’s Composite rankings.
