WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — There was no reason for Michigan State basketball to have a chance Sunday.
Not after falling behind by 23 points. Not with getting pounded by Purdue’s offensive rebounding. Not in their third game in six days, as well as their fourth on the road out of the past five.
