Week 11 was expected to be a bounce-back one for the Michigan State basketball team after dropping two straight to Iowa and Wisconsin in the previous two games. Hosting Nebraska on Tuesday, the Spartans had a good shot at ending the two-game slide, but it turned to three as they dropped by a single point at the Breslin Center.

That home loss to the Cornhuskers didn’t get the Spartans down, however, as they took a page right out of the football’s team’s book and took down Maryland in the very next game.
