It’s one of those classic mistakes, except no one makes this gaffe who knows anything about college basketball. Michigan State Basketball coach Tom Izzo was referred to as ‘Tim’ by an ESPN mobile update on Monday afternoon.
Brought to our attention by Mitch Steur, the gaffe can’t go unnoticed. After all the disrespect the football program gets, such as Mark Dantonio being referred to as Mike, something like this happens.
Unacceptable.
Izzo was just inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Monday along with legendary players such as Yao Ming, Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson, yet he gets slapped in the face with a horrible typo.
