It would take a solid effort by the Michigan State basketball team on Saturday afternoon to not overlook a 2-4 Binghamton Bearcats team at the Breslin Center to improve to 9-0, and the Spartans took care of business.
Although Binghamton isn’t one of the best opponents MSU will face this year, all week long, the Spartans were hearing about how they’d be moving up to No. 1 in the rankings if they won. Well, they did and even on a day in which they shot just 7-of-26 from three-point range.
