EAST LANSING — Michigan State basketball entered the New Year and returned to Big Ten play with perhaps its most complete performance of the season.
Tyson Walker scored 21 points, and Joey Hauser had 10 points and 10 rebounds for his second straight double-double and as the Spartans started and finished strong in a 74-56 victory over Nebraska on Tuesday night at Breslin Center.
Freshman Jaxon Kohler added a career-high 10 points as MSU (10-4, 2-1 Big Ten) shot 47.7% while holding the Cornhuskers to just 2-for-16 from 3-point range and dominated with a 46-29 edge on the boards, with Mady Sissoko also grabbing 10.
