The smoke is beginning to clear on the early season schedule of college basketball.
And one of the marquee games on the calendar, especially for Michigan State basketball, may finally have a location.
The Spartans will play at Duke on Dec. 1 in one half of the two-game Champions Classic, according to college basketball writers Adam Zagoria and Matt Norlander.
The other half of the Champions Classic, Kansas vs. Kentucky, will be played that day in Indianapolis.
Norlander reports that because of different COVID-19 protocols between the Big Ten, the ACC, the SEC and the Big 12, it did not seem feasible to host both games at the same arena on the same day.
