Tom Izzo and Michigan State basketball are working to sign yet another top-10 recruiting class for 2024 after inking the No. 4 group in 2023.
If all goes as planned, the Spartans will have back-to-back top-10 classes for the first time in recent memory. That actually hasn’t happened since average recruiting ratings were first recorded in 2011. We could be on the verge of seeing Izzo do something special (again).
There’s still some room in the 2024 class even after landing four-star wing Kur Teng and four-star big man Jesse McCulloch.
And those extra spots could be utilized to land a top prospect like Aiden Sherrell who just narrowed his list to five teams, including Michigan State.
