Michigan State soared in its Sweet 16 game against LSU. Only one Spartan on this team had seen a Sweet 16 victory (Kenny Goins) before Friday, but that’s all changed — for everyone else, this was new territory.
Not only did this team shine but it didn’t surrender the lead once throughout the matchup with LSU. This team is one of Tom Izzo’s best-coached and they’re showing it with their play throughout the 2018-19 season.
