Michigan State finally looked like the team we expected at the start of the season when they were ranked No. 1 overall, beating a 9-1 Eastern Michigan team 101-48.
Not only was this a great game for fans looking for a more fluid offensive attack from the Spartans, but also those doubters when it comes to Michigan State against the zone. The Spartans dismantled Eastern Michigan’s zone for 40 minutes and that led to the 101-point output in East Lansing.
The Spartans had five players who scored in double figures, including 13 from Foster Loyer off the bench.
