Michigan and Michigan State basketball don’t exactly get along and these Wolverine players have gotten under Spartan fans’ skin.
Michigan State fans cannot stand Michigan. The feeling is mutual, though, and for years, the Spartans only had that massive hatred for the Wolverines on the gridiron. That has slowly shifted over to the hardwood over the past decade thanks to the program’s resurgence under John Beilein.
Although Beilein was a likable coach and someone who all Michigan State fans could say they respected, he built teams that were absolutely hated.
