The relatively quiet recruitment for one of Michigan State's highest-rated prospects took a step forward this week.
Josiah James, the five-star guard from South Carolina, has set a final four schools of Michigan State, Duke, Clemson and Tennessee, according to the Moultrie News newspaper.
The report also states that James has a visit set up for Michigan State in October, following visits to his other three finalists in September.
James (6-foot-6, 198 pounds) is rated the No. 12 player in the country and the No. 1 point guard in the country in the 247sports composite.
