Heading into an offseason full of recruiting, head coach Tom Izzo wishes he had some more help outside of his small coaching staff to try and lure players to join the Green & White.
Recently, however, the head coach received a commitment in the form of four-star power forward Nick Ward, easing the coach’s mind a bit for the class of 2016. Ward became the first member of the class and Izzo is hoping that will start a domino effect for the rest of the class.
One guy who could be the next on the list to commit to Michigan State is actually good friends with Ward and a guy who keeps in touch with the new MSU commit a lot, according to Joe Rexrode of the Detroit Free Press.
