Michigan State‘s 2016 recruiting class has grown by five in the last week as head coach Mark Dantonio has put in some solid work trying to lure the nation’s top players. Last Friday, three-star running back Abdul Adams decided to join the green movement.
Along with Adams, four-star wide out Justin Layne, four-star quarterback Messiah deWeaver, three-star tight end Noah Davis and two-star linebacker Joe Bachie joined Michigan State last week.
The spring game opened up a ton on the recruiting trail and the country’s top prospects are starting to take notice of East Lansing and all it has to offer, including Big Ten titles and a chance to play for a national championship — something the Spartans haven’t won since the 1960s.
