Michigan State basketball’s 2019 commitment Mark “Rocket” Watts told stockrisers.com on Tuesday that he plans to sign his letter of intent with the Spartans on April 17 in Detroit. That is the first day of the regular signing period that runs until May 15.
The 4-star combo guard, currently playing at SPIRE Academy in suburban Cleveland, is ranked the No. 32 player overall according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings.
The Spartans had one player, 4-star swingman Malik Hall, sign for their during the early period in November. Watts had been committed before that but delayed his signing.
