Michigan, Michigan state make cut for 4-star DT Donovan Jeter

Michigan and Michigan State are both in contention to sign one of the top defensive linemen in the nation.

Donovan Jeter, a 2017 four-star defensive tackle from Beaver Falls High School in Pennsylvania, released a top nine Thursday night that included, in no order, Alabama, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Ole Miss, Penn State, Ohio State, Tennessee and Michigan State.

At 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds, Jeter is the No. 17 defensive tackle and No. 278 player overall in the 2017 class, according to 247 Sports Composite rankings.
