This week, Michigan football picked up the commitment of 3-star West Bloomfield inside linebacker Cornell Wheeler.
The 2020 commit reportedly had offers from Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Syracuse and a host of others. He's the No. 13 overall player in the state, per the 247Sports Composite.
But what about Michigan State?
"I was talking to Michigan State as well, but they, obviously, took too long to offer," Wheeler told the Free Press. "They said they were going to offer... I guess their recruiting process is different."
