Michigan football has added a transfer linebacker. And his name will sound familiar.
A team spokesperson confirmed Monday morning that Edward Warinner, son of offensive line coach Ed Warinner and a former Michigan State player, is enrolled at Michigan and a member of the football program.
Edward Warinner spent his second season with MSU this past fall after redshirting during his true freshman season in 2018. He appeared in seven games this season, making three tackles. He entered the transfer portal earlier this month.
