EAST LANSING — No one should have needed any convincing of just how much the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry means to Juwan Howard.
But if they did, all they had to do was watch Sunday's showdown, an 87-69 victory for the No. 16 Spartans at Breslin Center.
With a little more than 13 minutes left in the game, Michigan center Austin Davis came barreling down the line for a layup. He encountered multiple defenders and had his shot blocked by Julius Marble.
