Doing the job of about five recruiters-worth, Michigan State‘s 2016 quarterback commit Messiah deWeaver is luring some of the nation’s brightest stars to East Lansing. After being committed to the Spartans for a month now, deWeaver has become Michigan State’s strongest recruiting tool.
Landing the four-star quarterback from Ohio was one of Mark Dantonio’s best accomplishments on the recruiting trail as head coach, maybe even the best acquisition since he arrived on campus in 2007.
deWeaver has been the vocal leader of a class that hasn’t even stepped foot on the field as members of the MSU football team and won’t be doing so for over another year.
